People at the Paralympics
My Street Photography and Photojournalism course instructor Alex challenged us to go to the Olympic Park and take pictures of the atmosphere for the Paralympics. I went to Stratford on Wednesday morning, and this is the photographic result. The spectators were excited to see the Paralympic Games, and there were far more Brits at the Park than during the Olympcics; local mass media have proclaimed the Paralympics the "Londoners' Games". The audience was amazing, but the real heroes of these Games' success are the volunteers. They cheerfully welcome the spectators, help those in need and cheer up the whole atmosphere. It's thanks to their valuable help that we can call the London 2012 Games a great success.
